For decades, Democrats have relied on minority voters to secure wins, but 2024 is shaping up to be the election that changes for good.
Black, Latino and Asian-American voters are waking up to Kamala Harris’s agenda. Her policies have pushed them further from the American Dream. These voters will be the margin of victory in rejecting her failed leadership.
Vice President Kamala Harris has failed America. If elected president, she will continue to do so — especially at the expense of minority families.
Take the economy. As the tie-breaking vote in the Senate, Harris helped rubber-stamp massive spending bill after massive spending bill, fueling around 20 percent inflation and putting essentials like groceries and gas out of reach for working families.
Imagine a young couple starting their careers and dreaming of a family. With surging inflation pushing up grocery prices, food budgets stretch thinner weekly, and store shelves will become emptier. Meanwhile, Harris’s energy policies have increased gas and utility prices, making it harder to cover anything beyond the bills.
Homeownership — once a cornerstone of the American Dream — has become impossible for many families. After four years of co-authoring President Biden’s policies, Harris caused a weak economy and made a downpayment on a house a distant dream.
Harris’s failures extend into education. Public schools — once a trusted path to success — have been weakened by radical woke ideology. My mother immigrated with me from the Philippines and came to America to put me in a better school system. I graduated from public schools. Now, my mother would never consider putting me in a public school. Parents are forced to seek expensive alternatives while their children fall behind in a global race for success.
Reckless policies have also strained the healthcare system. Stories abound of families with a sick child forced to wait hours at overcrowded clinics while undocumented immigrants flood the system. Working-class families struggle to access timely care, while in California, immigrants are eligible for Medicaid. A healthy community is vital to prosperity, but families are left to fend for themselves in a broken system under Harris.
Finally, Harris’s open-border policies insult every law-abiding citizen who has gone through the arduous process of legal immigration. Consider someone who spent years navigating the immigration system to become a U.S. citizen only to face unfair competition in the job market, losing opportunities to immigrants willing to work for lower wages.
At the DMV, people see immigrants receiving documentation ahead of them. Illegal immigration has also fueled dangerous crime nationwide, further undermining the safety of legal immigrants seeking a better life. Harris’s policies have undermined the integrity of the immigration system, rewarding lawlessness over hard work. We believe in legal and fair policies that reflect the values of opportunity and respect the laws that ensure a brighter future for all.
It’s time to reject Harris’s failed leadership and embrace a vision that truly prioritizes the needs of all Americans. Her policies offer no solutions — only fear-mongering and empty promises.
Harris may present herself as a champion of freedom, but she exploits communities with divisive rhetoric. It’s time for real change and a better tomorrow.
