These are sad days in U.S. politics. After the first presidential debate of 2024, Americans suspect the worst about Joe Biden’s mental capacity.
We had an earlier warning about Biden’s mental capacity based on comments by Special Counsel Robert Hur, appointed by the Department of Justice to investigate Biden. After classified documents were found at Biden’s home, Hur interviewed Biden. He told Congress that he did not recommend federal charges against Biden because the president was “a well-meaning elderly man with poor memory.”
Americans could see Hur’s decision not to charge Biden with a crime as the federal bureaucracy protecting Biden. Earlier, the Justice Department tried to protect Hunter Biden, the president’s son, from the federal charges for which he was found guilty.
Hunter was convicted on charges of lying about his drug addiction on a federal application to buy a firearm. The Justice Department worked to drop charges against Hunter. It didn’t work. Attorney General Merrick Garland humiliated himself and our nation. He should resign.
Garland refuses to give Congress the audiotape of Hur’s interview with Biden. With many Democrats and donors calling for Biden to drop out of the presidential race, I suspect the tape will soon leak to the press. The president should be nervous.
Fifty years ago, President Richard Nixon refused to give Congress the Oval Office tapes about the Watergate break-in. Three days after the tapes were released, Nixon resigned. That dark political anniversary is quickly approaching. Biden might face the same fate.
If Democrats were really concerned about the health of Biden, they would have quietly pushed him out of the Oval Office earlier. They had plenty of reasons: Biden falling on the steps of Air Force One. Biden listlessly walked away from interviewers. Biden staring into space. Biden sleeping during meetings. Biden mumbling incoherently at domestic and foreign meetings. Biden losing his chain of thought. Biden telling stories about an uncle eaten by cannibals in New Guinea.
For four years, Biden has humiliated himself and our nation. Americans are tired of being humiliated. Humiliation has consequences. Political payback could come in November, if not sooner.
Biden says he is alert to work only certain hours of the day. He says he must go to bed at 8 p.m. You can’t say that former president Donald Trump didn’t speak out about Sleepy Joe. Trump was the only person brave enough to call out Biden’s obvious decline.
Democrats, bureaucrats, and Biden-friendly journalists lied to Americans about Biden’s mental capacity. For four years, they said Biden was “sharp as a tack,” “clear-eyed,” “laser-focused,” “highly intelligent,” “at the top of his game,” etc., etc.
Biden’s alarmingly poor performance at the debate with Trump exposed Democrats, bureaucrats and Biden-friendly journalists as liars. They have lost the trust of Americans.
When Democrats push Biden out of the presidency, they will want you to believe that it is in the best interest of our country. It is in the best interest of the Democratic Party.
Democrats fear big political losses in November. To limit the loss, Democrats want to sacrifice Biden. It is too late.
Biden’s domestic and foreign policies, supported by Democrats in Congress, have had devastating economic and social consequences for Americans. These disastrous policies have hurt all age demographics: the middle class, seniors and Gen Z.
Supporters will want us to believe that things will be better with Biden gone. For four years they lied to us. When Democrats ditch Sleepy Joe, they will want us to think that Happy Days Are Here Again. It is too late.
No one should be happy with the sad state of U.S. politics. Biden’s presidency is truly the worst of times.
Biden’s Open Border policy is reckless and dangerous. Biden’s repeated charge that U.S. corporations are not paying their “fair share” of taxes is a lie. As a senator, Biden thought the tax code was fair when he voted for it.
Biden’s mental decline has led to Russia’s war in Ukraine, Hamas’ attacks on Israel, Iranian nuclear advancements, and the U.N. Security Council’s humiliation of America. Biden has forgotten American hostages in foreign countries. During his recent debate with Trump, Biden shamefully forgot U.S. troops who died in Afghanistan and Jordan.
The true evidence of Biden’s cognitive decline is his belief that Vice President Kamala Harris is qualified to be the next president. Americans do not want more humiliation. Enough is enough.
