Should Donald Trump be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize? Absolutely!

America is on the cusp of ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity that dwarfs anything we have seen. In the past, we’ve had the Pax Romana — the era of peace when Rome dominated the Western world — and the post-World War II Pax Americana.

Today, we are on the verge of Pax MAGA: America First, but not alone, and with the muscle to promote lasting peace.

President Trump’s game plan of peace through strength, not empty words or weak deals, is simple yet revolutionary. In his first term, he achieved a significant breakthrough with the Abraham Accords, reshaping the Middle East by bringing Arab nations and Israel to the negotiating table, cutting through decades of stalemate with bold diplomacy and economic incentives.

Then there was North Korea: opening dialogue at levels no one thought possible, reducing the risk of nuclear catastrophe through direct talks and summits. China was also put on notice, making it clear that Taiwan’s independence was not up for grabs, while also demonstrating that American power is not just about size; it is about the will to use it swiftly and decisively.

And there is even more momentum today. Trump’s second term has seen gutsy plays, like ramping up pressure on Iran to stop its terrorism funding and nuclear weapons aspirations. Hostage releases, strikes on critical nuclear targets, and sanctions that hit where it hurts, all making the world safer without putting boots on the ground.

The administration is standing rock-solid with allies, from supporting Israel against Hamas attacks to brokering difficult peace talks in Ukraine, all while beefing up our military and putting DOGE-identified wasteful spending on the chopping block.

On the home front, securing borders, fixing lopsided trade deals and slashing taxes have turbocharged the economy, lifting many out of poverty and creating good jobs. It is not rocket science: a strong economy funds a strong defense, and together, they create unmatched stability.

Peace is not automatic, however. We must keep American strength unmatched as our priority, using the DIME framework — Diplomacy, Information, Military and Economic power.

The Department of Defense is the big stick that makes everything else work, backed by smart spending at 3 percent of GDP, which is a bargain for the security it buys. We need to act quickly against threats, like the decisive 2017 strikes in Syria that nipped bigger problems in the bud, or we risk repeats of messes in Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf or Ukraine.

While America comes first, we are not going it alone — allies are key, sharing the load through diplomacy, combat power, bases and intelligence to amplify our reach and reduce costs.

Domestically, we must clean our house. In government agencies, reports indicate a deep-seated partisan resistance to the Trump agenda. Consider the bias Secretary Marco Rubio inherited at the State Department, where 93 percent of donations go to Democrats, or USAID, where 96 percent of donations benefited Democrats, according to a Heritage report.

With $34.8 trillion of debt and annual deficits at $2 trillion projected into the future, we are in danger of bankrupting our country and leaving our grandchildren to pay for our mistakes. Interest on the debt alone consumes $1 trillion annually. Drastic government overhauls are necessary. Congressional term limits are necessary, as our elected legislature struggles to get the job done.

American greatness, consisting of overwhelming military and economic strength and the resolve to use it quickly, can bring long-term global peace.

Why America? Because we are a good nation with a God-given responsibility. Critics might call this approach divisive, but the results, especially in the Middle East, are encouraging.

Pax MAGA is a call to rally behind the president’s policies, to keep pushing forward to the next level of national strength with unity, speed and smarts. If we do, America’s destiny is clear: generational peace and prosperity that benefits the world. The choice is ours — weakness or winning? Let us choose winning.
